I attended the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-51) for the first time this year. The conference provided an interesting environment for researchers to exchange perspectives and ideas in various areas of information, computer, and system sciences. The group I was with hosted a symposium on smart application BizzyB.
BizzyB is a student innovation and entrepreneurial application built on the BizGenics platform, which is a set of SaaS micro services. The platform allows students to collaborate, create and turn ideas into real business plans.
Key innovation topics are tackled via activities complete with instructions, tips & examples. All Activities include embedded “design thinking” and lean startup methodology. If a young entrepreneur wants to be the next YouTube star or simply run a summer time lemonade stand, BizzyB can help. This project is still in its infancy and we expect to be completed in January of 2019.
It was not all work though! We had a lot of fun meeting new friends and connecting with other conference goers to collaborate on other projects. Here are a few of the fun moments below.
